InnoEn conducts R&D on clean energy technology and innovation from biomass (including water, residue from agricultural and industrial sectors and waste from communities), R&D on environmental management, projects on energy-related resources, and projects on climate change and biodiversity.

Moreover, InnoEn has Sakaerat Environment Research Station (SERS), located in Udom Sub sub-district, Wang Nam Khiao district, Nakhon Ratchasima province, which conducts environmental and forest ecological researches in accordance with the Thai Cabinet resolution. SERS received permission from Royal Forest Department (Thailand) to utilizing and residing this area for research and educational purposes. SERS also serves as a learning center on environmental conservation through the science and environment camp activities for students, a knowledge transfer center on environment, ecology, biodiversity and natural resource conservation, a learning center on ecotourism for natural resource and ecology, and a service center for training program and national/international conference venues.

Expert Centre of Innovative
Materials

InnoMat aims for conducting R&D on material development for health and medicine (e.g. health rehabilitation materials, ultrasound physical therapy equipment and bond filler) and R&D on material development for energy and environment (e.g. filter materials, membrane, catalysts substance, water-absorbed materials, water treatment materials and value addition materials for construction or ornamentation usage). InnoMat also provides analysis and testing service on material property of ceramics, minerals, polymers and rubber, by analyzing and testing on physical properties (e.g. micro-structure of material texture, material porosity, material density, surface area, distribution of particle size and coefficient of material expansion), chemical properties (e.g. chemical composition and pH resistance) and mechanical properties (e.g. material strength).

Industrial Robotics and Automation

InnoRobot conducts R&D, service and technology transfer on robotic and automation, to enhance production capability of manufacturing sector and improve product quality, to create business which could take advantage of robotic and automation technologies, to develop human resource specialized in mechatronics field, and to enhance intelligent capability of industrial and agricultural sectors which could lead the industrial sector into industry 4.0.

Moreover, InnoRobot is also ready for providing complete range of technology service on automation, including consultancy, research and development, design and manufacture automation and automatic control system according to customers’ requirement, as well as, training program and technology transfer of automation production technology to entrepreneurs.

Sakaerat Environmental Research Station

Sakaerat Environmental Research Station (SERS) occupies an important location within Thailand 's diverse natural landscape. It has become a focal point for scientific research, conservation training and teaching, and local-community involvement. In recent years, SERS has also developed into a highly sought-after eco-tourism site.

Since its inception as a research station, SERS has hosted a large number of research projects on a wide array of topics. While the majority of projects are conducted by Thai people, a number of foreign researchers have used the station for their work. In addition, universities from around Thailand including Khorat, Bangkok , Khon Kaen and Songkla bring students to the station on field-trips for training in biological and ecology studies.
